Week 5 of 52

Daily Activities

Years ago on our first date, my husband and I went for a stroll on the beach after dinner during the setting sun.  There was something about his blue eyes and the warmth I saw there that set me at ease.  I was transfixed.  I so badly wanted to grab his hand and hold on.  I kept the hand nearest him out of my pocket on purpose, just in the off chance he would take my hand.  My hand got very cold from the cold ocean air blowing in.  I didn't care.  I kept my hand out the whole time.  I had noticed he too had the hand closest to me out of his pocket.  I'm sure we made quite a pair.  Both of us had one hand in our pocket and one out!  Neither one of us had the nerve to take the other one's hand.  Years later we talked about that day and how badly we both wanted to hold each others hand!  Now, we hold each others hand as often as possible.

Even though my husband doesn't always physically hold my hand every day,  I know he daily supports me no matter what.  I know he loves me for  me.  He lifts me up and yet he grounds me when I need it.  Knowing this,  I feel like I can conquer the world and anything in it.  Should I take a  miss step, he guides me back.  I am forever thankful for his daily  support and love.

Yes, I shower and put clothes on.  I tie my shoes.  But of all my Daily Activities, the love and support of my husband is one I cherish most!

P.S  I used "old west" and "Vintage" actions from Pioneer Woman to achieve  this look.
