Shallow Depth of Field
In optics, particularly as it relates to film and photography, depth of field (DOF) is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.
I had to dig out my husband's camera to get a lens capable of doing shallow depth of field. I probably could have done it with mine, but gave his a go. The picture above, I got the depth of field really shallow. I have seen some really neat pictures well done. However, I don't have a lens capable of doing it. :(
I love the expression on Little Misses face. She was having fun joining me this week. She kept complaining that I was cutting her face off.
