I have been trying to make silhouette shots for sometime now. I feel pretty good about these shots. I still have lots to learn and more practice to be done.
This picture was pretty simple. The subjects didn't move!
This picture here is actually a merging of two pictures! One picture, the truck wasn't in focus. The other one, the sky was messed up. Here is the best of both worlds working together to make a better shot.
Now, this was difficult. Darn kids wouldn't hold still! I am still pleased with it. The bright light is the full moon. It looks like they are holding it up.
Here, I was experimenting with length of time the shutter was open.
This was most difficult. I was in the picture. I set up the shot and had Faith push the shutter. I had to climb ontop of the rock pile to get to this spot. Rick thouht it would help if he took a picture when I was almost up to the top and blinded me! Scout had to be in this shot too!
