First camping trip in toy hauler.

So, we started to pack up all the gear we thought we needed for this camping trip last week. On Thursday, Rick put one of our four wheelers in the toy hauler. He started laughing. Curious person that I am, I went to find out why. We were told that we could fit "4 four wheelers" in the back of the toy hauler. Not so. The one wheeler took up majority of the space. Leaving very little room left. Then he went to tie it down. The tie down spots inside the trailer sucked. Rick popped out two of the tie downs immediately. In inspecting the tie downs, it was noted that one didn't have bolts on the bottom at all, and all the others were not secured to any solid structure. We finally secured the four wheeler after modifying the tie downs to be more secure and placed the other four wheeler in the back of the Beast. We found a spot up Blue River Reservoir to camp. The spot was small with a down grade, so the girls didn't get to ride their bikes much. Us adults didn't get to ride the wheelers because it was too dusty. But the spot was great. We had the serene sound of the creek all day and night. We lazed around and didn't do much at all. It got really hot on Saturday, so we loaded up all the kids and went site seeing. It was beautiful. The girls and the puppies played and played. We had to tie up Scout the whole time because she would take off and would take her sweet time coming back. The down side was, Mitchelle ended up with 92 plus mosquito bites even after putting on stinky bug spray.
