Camp site search

We are searching in the Springfield areas for a good camping site. We plan to go camping in a couple weeks. The camp site needs to be trailor friendly. If you guys have any ideas of where to camp, let us know. We went looking above Oakridge and found one possible camping site, but it is a long way up there. We also ran into a snow drift in the middle of the road at about 3500-4000 ft elevation that was about 3 foot deep! It was 90 degrees at the time. All the creeks and rivers were full to over filling of muddy water too.

We used to camp at the foot of Mt. Washington - that was a long time ago & we were in a tent. Also there are spots along the McKenzie & I think it's called Blue River or Blue Dam ??

Hey Mitchelle, We stayed at Blue Pool off of either 38 or 58 highway last weekend. We tried to go to some Lake and the road was covered with snow too. Blue Pool would have been nice except for being so close to the highway. I like a little more serene and without the sound of trucks. But later check out all of the lakes that are in that area. Just cruise that highway and you will find all kinds of lakes.
